Jing Wang joined the team in the Spring of 2017. Her project responsibilities include conceptual design, site plans, specifications, graphics and presentations, construction documentation, grading, and drainage as well as cost estimates in collaboration with clients, contractors, and consultants.

 

Ms. Wang serves as a project manager on current campus projects such as the New Chemistry Building at Old Dominion University. She has contributed her graphic design skills in presentations and created a large scale watercolor rendering for the U.S. Courthouse Modernization and Annex of the Charles R. Jonas U.S. Courthouse, Charlotte, NC. Over her time at APSLA, she has moved from a project assistant to currently a project manager of our high-end residential projects.

 

In addition to her academic training, Ms. Wang has had extensive experience working as a teaching assistant in the UMass Amherst Landscape Architecture Department and worked as a translator for the design and narrative for the Zhengzhou Garden Expo project by Jack Ahern.

 

In September 2016, she received a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She previously obtained a Bachelor’s in Urban Design and Planning from Shandong University of Technology in China.
